Cairo, Egypt, March 12, 2018 –  It was all smiles at the Ahly hall yesterday as the Ultimates grabbed a hard fought win from Harare city of Zimbabwe. The thrilling match ended in a 3-1 set frenzy (25-11, 25-20, 17-25, 25-15) which qualified the Namboole based “Ultimates” for a ranking match for positions 9 – 12

VVC showed good structured play and defense, but Harare city eventually outplayed to win the third set 25-17. Vision show their resilience, versatility and blocking strength to keep the Zimbabweans from gaining any real traction in the 4th set, eventually winning 25-15.

“The team is in good shape mentally and physically and like i mentioned earlier, they are looking better as the tournament progresses. I believe in them and know they will get even better” said a determined Hannington Nsubuga, the team tactician.

Earlier on Friday, the Ultimates surprised all with a straight sets victory (25-18, 25-15, 25-22) over experienced FAP of Cameroon in Pool C where wing spiker Margret Namyalo played a great role in the victory scoring 15 points.
